Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our organization. Duties: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand - Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines - Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors - Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests - Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination - Help with organizing and storing kitchen supplies and equipment - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of basic food safety principles is a plus - Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from superiors - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
