    Overview
    This position is responsible for developing and driving the communications and Public Relations (PR) activities and plans. We are seeking a talented and experienced Market Communications and PR Manager with deep experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, exceptional writing and storytelling skills, and a proven record of successfully managing PR campaigns and media relations. 

    Responsibilities
    • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand awareness/reputation within the healthcare industry and among potential customers. Create compelling and engaging content for various channels, including press releases, blog posts, articles, social media, website copy, and marketing collateral.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive coverage and media placements. Support the development of community relations and patient groups. Serve as the primary point of contact for any of the company’s media inquiries.
    • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and provide strategic recommendations. Plan and coordinate press events, industry conferences, and speaking engagements to maximize exposure and thought leadership opportunities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BD, project management and executive leadership, to align communications with business objectives and messaging. Oversee the development and management of digital communication channels, including social media platforms, email newsletters, and online communities.
    • Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives and campaigns. Drive development of patient outreach and communication materials including brochures, patient portals and any other materials and outreach documents. 
    • Ad-hoc activities and projects.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred. with a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare communications, PR, or related roles.
    • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging for diverse audiences. Proven track record of successfully managing public relations campaigns, media relations, and crisis communication efforts.
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinker with an ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions. Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
    • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Strong project management skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to challenges.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
