Top Purchasing Executive leads procurement and purchasing operations and develops strategic plans to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Evaluates and develops strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Top Purchasing Executive fosters collaboration with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Designs processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Top Purchasing Executive incorporates auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Purchasing Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.   • Job Summary/Overview

    The Pool Monitor is responsible for providing excellent service to residents and their guests by monitoring assigned pools, ensuring that all rules are being followed at all times.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may be expected to perform other duties as assigned, including working in other areas to cover absences or balance the workload. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Monitors residents & guests on the veranda, pool & pool decks to assure that everyone is in compliance with the posted pool rules and enforces rules when needed
    • Greets residents and guests when walking the pool area
    • Maintains a clean working area and sanitizes as needed
    • Ensures everyone exits the pool and surrounding areas during thunderstorms
    • Closes all umbrellas at the pools during inclement weather
    • Requests resident identification when needed
    • Attends onsite safety classes to obtain certificates and training in the following areas: CPR, AED, First Aide & Blood Borne Pathogen
    • Follows the rules governing the circulation for the outdoor pool
    • Exhibits professionalism at all times
    • Performs all duties in adherence to Company standards
    • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
    • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous customer service experience preferred

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Must be able to read, write and understand English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
    • Ability to work well with the public
