ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Leadership and Talent Development
· Develop a warehouse inventory storage strategy for a, b, c, large items, and VMI.
· Create and implement a global warehouse facility strategy to optimize and balance costs and decide where to store inventory. This would include third-party warehousing.
· Manage all capital and budgetary expenditures and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
· Cultivate strong relationships with peers in other sites and cross-functional leaders.
Culture
· Monitor, manage, and maintain a safety culture that strives to ensure the safety of each employee.
· Create and implement a high-performing 5S system and culture.
· Establish a culture of work execution to plan, focus on transactional details, and have a “can do” attitude in supporting our customers.
Operational Excellence
· Develop and improve our warehousing processes, work instructions, and training.
· Lead daily management and improve warehousing KPI.
· Develop a resource labor capacity planning method & optimize efficiency.
· Ensure parts are delivered to production and shipped to customers to the agreed SLA.
Global Management
· Lead the global warehouse operations through a center-led model.
· Work with the global sites to develop solutions and best practices to common issues.
· Implement warehousing, picking strategies, technologies, and tools globally.
· Create and lead global warehousing projects and new site implementations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Business, Supply Chain, finance, or related field
Experience: 8 years of warehouse experience, strong ERP skills with a deep understanding of the warehouse transactional steps, understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment, strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships, comfortable with figures and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. 3 Years of experience managing and leading people.
Or 14 years of combination of education and experience in the supply chain, finance, or economics.
