We are seeking a detail oriented individual (full time) to serve as a Purchasing Agent to handle all purchasing responsibilities generated by our various Plant and Shop Supervisors. As a key member of the TRI team, the successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimating, vendor negotiations, purchase order generation, substitutions, analysis of buying trends, inventory control and authorization of payment for goods and services.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess solid computer skills in Excel. Building and maintaining relationships through interaction and negotiations with vendors is key. Familiarity with commonly used construction materials, components, equipment and supplies is required. This is a salaried position.
