Job description

You will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing inventory levels, and sourcing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Meet with key vendors, source new vendors, negotiate price reductions, track inventories of key items and recommend timely purchases.
• Track receipt of orders, approve invoices, forward paperwork to Accounts Payable for payment.
• Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
• Contract implementation - including developing and negotiations of agreements working with other necessary stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement to drive meaningful changes in process, supplier or material to deliver value beyond price.
• Process purchase requisitions and orders to secure products and/or services as required. Evaluate and implement orders where needed.
• Coordinate and consult with internal and external customers regarding purchase requirements following corporate procurement guidelines.
• Perform internal audits and external supplier audits as needed.
• Develop a long-term Purchasing strategy to ensure current process is scalable and flexible as demand of the company growth dictates.
• Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to determine and manage inventory needs
• Experience with constraint management
• Become a super user in our ERP system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing Purchasing Setting
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be able to speak Spanish
• Robust experience in an ERP system such as Plex, or similar system
• Ability to understand raw materials
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing and multi-tasking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
