JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to Boley Centers Quality and Performance Improvement (QI/PI) & Risk Management department. Assists with gathering data across multiple functions. Assists with generating reports. Attends meetings and provides support for various committees. Assists with functions related to risk management. Assists with functions related to staff education initiatives. Assists with preparations related to accreditation processes. Performs general administrative assistance as directed to support department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in business, health information, or related field preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. Extensive experience could be substituted for educational requirements if deemed appropriate.
Experience as administrative assistant in healthcare or human services environment. Experience with data collection, quality improvement, accreditation processes, and risk management.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with data collection and reports in accordance with established timeframes. Performs accurate and timely data entry and assists with data tracking.
Assists with data gathering and reporting of incidents, internal inspections, emergency drills.
Assists with quarterly and annual reports in relation to performance measures and strategic planning.
Assists with management of stakeholder survey processes and associated data.
Assists in preparing reports related to agency QI/PI and in the development of data system designs and forms for the collection of QI/PI data.
Assists with accreditation preparations and survey participation.
Assists with staff development in-services related to QI/PI activities including new employee orientation and annual training.
Attends and assists with QI/PI committee meetings when assigned. Prepares agendas and minutes for committees and meetings when assigned.
Assists as assigned with aspects of safety program, including coordinating collection of required documentation in accordance with established guidelines and timeframes.
Assists as assigned with aspects of risk management program. Attends and assists with agency and program safety meetings and activities as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation in order to prepare documents and all types of other correspondence.
Knowledge of data management techniques, office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of basic math & statistics.
Knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Avatar, virtual meeting platforms.
