Top Quality Management Executive - Healthcare oversees all aspects of the quality management function for a hospital or other healthcare facility. Develops plans designed to improve the overall quality of the organization's facilities and patient care services. Being a Top Quality Management Executive - Healthcare oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other accreditation standards. Responsible for planning and directing quality policies, programs, and initiatives. Additionally, Top Quality Management Executive - Healthcare requires a MD from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Typically requires extensive clinical experience. Typically reports to a top management. The Top Quality Management Executive - Healthcare manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. KPC Promise Skilled Nursing Facility of Wichita Falls: The HIM Tech is responsible for processing medical records, responding to telephone requests for charts and other information and performs other duties as assigned in the Health Information Department according to policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Two years experience in an acute care Health Information Department
3. Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification preferred
4. Must be able to read, write, and speak English
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical: Walking - up to 20% Standing - up to 10% Kneeling - up to 10%
Sitting - up to 25% Pushing - up to 10% Bending - up to 10%
Squatting - up to 10% Pulling - up to 5% Reaching - up to 5%
Lifting - up to 25 lbs Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%
Mental: Stress Level: Moderate to high
EXPOSURE RISK: Category III - Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS, MACHINES USED: Computer, copier, telephone, facsimile machine, calculator, printer.
