Top Sales Executive provides leadership to the sales organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Top Sales Executive oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Additionally, Top Sales Executive collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Sales Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     The Marketing Consultant position at the Basin Radio Network is our front line to the businesses in our communities. We pride ourselves in our ability to serve the business community with a genuine and professional approach to solving business related issues. The creative use of multi-media products in broad, narrow, and targeted delivery makes the combined use of radio and digital sales an effective solution to our client’s business needs. Please find below the responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Marketing Consultant with the Basin Radio Network.

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect local and regional businesses, use our sales process to identify business needs, performance indicators, provide and close multi-media solutions using a variety of assets. These assets include broadcast and online radio, live and virtual events, and an assortment of digital products such as social media ads (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.…), programmatic ad delivery, website development, over the top video, and search engine management.
    • Meet monthly sales goals and actively grow an account list of clients.
    • Create and maintain strong professional business relationships with local businesses, their owners, managers, and staff.
    • Utilize a Customer Relationship Management platform to organize, track, and accurately project revenue to meet and exceed monthly goals.

    Qualifications

    • Strong professional work ethic, a desire to learn and grow individually and professionally.
    • Previous sales experience, prospecting and closing proposed business. A history of success with customers and a proven ability to develop and grow revenue.
    • Knowledge and experience with traditional, social, and digital media.
    • Ability to quickly and effectively develop a good rapport with clients through various forms of communication, build business relationships with clients.
    • Dependable initiative-taker, motivated and goal-oriented, with a desire for problem solving.
    • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle required.
    • Associates or Bachelor’s in business or marketing-related degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • A willingness to learn and grow as an individual, as a team and the ability to place our values of Accountability, Commitment, Trust, Decisiveness and Respect first.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $35,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
