General Summary:

Sales Account Executives perform quoting opportunities as well as the follow-up to customers for retention and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prospecting of new accounts and the maintenance of existing customer accounts.
• Prospecting/Developing new accounts in assigned territory
• Call on existing accounts as assigned
• Prepare all information for quotes
• Consult customers on services
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation as defined Management on all work performed
• Provide timely communication to customer contacts and internally to technical management as to status and customer satisfaction for assigned projects
• Work to identify new opportunities and customer needs and ensure that they are met
• Follow-up on all internal and customer-defined policies and procedures
• Management of Bids and Proposals
• Management of Sales Contracts and Public Sector Contracts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understands sales strategies
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to problem solve
• Provide detailed correspondence with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, educational technology, marketing, sales, or related field preferred.
• 4 years of customer service/ sales experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
