Top Sales Executive provides leadership to the sales organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Top Sales Executive oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Additionally, Top Sales Executive collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Sales Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     The intern’s primary function is observing & supporting our sales team. The Sales Intern spends a large portion of their time shadowing our sales staff, learning how to manage leads, prepare quotes, satisfy customers, and close sales. This role is best suited for individuals who prefer a structured work environment with consistent guidance. This is a paid, temporary role that does not offer insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, or participation in the company’s 401k plan. This is not a remote role; interns are expected to perform their duties from our location in Perry, FL. 

    Supervisory Responsibilities: None

    FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

    Hourly Rate: $20.00/Hour

    Duration of Role: This is a temporary position lasting for a single school semester. Estimated duration is May 6th – August 23rd, 2024.  

    Requirements

     Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Create and update customer and sales records.
    • Observe sales team and successfully execute sales processes and procedures.
    • Conduct internet research.
    • Assist with preparation of presentations.
    • Interface with a diverse customer base comprised of business owners, government officials, purchasing agents, and members of the public.
    • Assist in creating marketing campaigns including literature, social media, direct mail, and web content.
    • Provide administrative support to sales team. 
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    Required Skills & Abilities: 

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.

    Education and Experience:

    • Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar field.
    • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.

    Physical Demands: 

    • Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers, management, vendors, and customers.
    • Professional appearance.
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as copiers, printers, and telephones.
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 95% of the time.
    • Normal office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Candidates must work between 24 – 27 hours per week but may flex their schedule within normal office hours.
