Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County is looking for a Caregiver Services Coordinator to join the Senior Services Team!
This full-time, benefit eligible this position will work to support caregivers of all ages through a variety of tasks. Working within the two unique programs, the Caregiver Services Coordinator will provide operational and program support to the Caregiver Services Programs (Volunteer Caregiver Respite and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren).
This position will collaborate with the Caregiver Services Manager to provide direct services to clients including resource navigation, advocacy, support group facilitation, and outreach. Additional tasks may include volunteer recruitment, training, management, and recognition for volunteer caregiver respite volunteers.
Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or related human services field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be professional and have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. At least one-year direct client service experience, preferably with older adults, as well as knowledge of and experience with nonprofit human services agencies and resources throughout Washtenaw County preferred.
Competitive pay will be dependent upon relevant experience. Total compensation includes benefit and retirement plans with employer contribution, plus paid time off and a generous paid holiday schedule which includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
