We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer at OneStream Software, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions that empower our clients to optimize their financial processes and drive business success.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
    • Integrate data storage solutions.
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and quality assurance to gather and analyze software requirements.
    • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
    • Execute and retrieve data, update data. (SQL Theories).
    • Perform development tasks using cloud resources.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Formal Education and Certification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Development, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalate technical discipline experience.

    Required Knowledge and Experience

    • 3 years industry engineering experience.
    • Proficient in Object oriented languages such as: C#, VB.NET, .NET, Core, ASP.NET, Blazor.
    • Understanding of industry standard tools such as Visual Studio or Studio Code in a team environment with experience using GIT or Azure DevOps.
    • Experience working on bug fixes, feature enhancements, support issues.
    • Experience with UI Design, CSS, XML
    • Experience with REST API or Web Services
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
    • Experience with AGILE, Scrum, or other methodologies to facilitate issue/feature completion.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Azure certification such as Azure certifications: AZ-900 - Fundamentals a plus.
    • Experience with financial application development (i.e. HFM, Planning, etc.)
