Primary Purpose:

Responsible for managing the procurement/ supply chain for Athena Medical Management Group LLC. Ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting inventory needs and ensuring purchase orders are made in a timely manner. Properly manage and maintain AMMG vendor list. The primary goal of this role will be to efficiently manage inventory within all Athena Medical Management Group LLC Facilities.

Core Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in one of the health professions, business administration, public administration or other suitable field – Preferred.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.

Experience:

Previous experience in healthcare procurement or inventory management.

Responsibilities and Duties: The incumbent in this position serves as the lead Inventory specialist for all Athena Medical Management Group purchase orders and requests. Works closely with procurement manager and assists in creating supply chain processes and procedures.

This role has accountability for supply chain management for facilities which may include a combination of multi-specialty outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers and other ancillary services.

The Inventory Specialist will:

• Assist in procurement department and have duties such as managing and tracking inventory, as well as ensuring orders are received by appropriate parties.
• Support the organization in providing system updates that include inventory tracking, analysis, documentation, and compliance.
• Negotiates with vendors for best price, quality and terms.
• Maintain Inventory vendor list and update accordingly.
• Review and track all purchase orders, contracts, and related documents.
• Ensure inventory database is maintained and standardized.
• Track and oversee inventory stock for all medical facilities; restock inventory in a timely manner and report any potential discrepancies.
• Streamline procurement processes to reduce costs, while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain spending, expense, and other inventory tracking reports of all purchases for all AMMG medical facilities.
• Have ability to work effectively with others.

• Strong knowledge of procurement industry and purchasing strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Ability to create detailed data analysis/management spreadsheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications
