Supply Chain Leader

Overall Expectation:

The Supply Chain Leader provides strategic leadership and accountability for our Supplier Development and Materials functions. Our focus is to have the right materials at the right place, time, quantity, and in the safest way by balancing costs and value. This is done through building partnerships with suppliers in alignment to our brand promise. 

Highlighted Expectations:

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement throughout the supply chain.
• Develop and implement strategic logistical solutions by identifying optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to import/export strategy and intercompany material movement.
• Coach and develop team members in a way that multiplies the collective intelligence of the whole.
• Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Minimum of three year of leadership experience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Able to travel and prior experience working cross-culturally.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to effectively coach and develop team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
