Job Summary In this position the successful applicant will be supporting supply chain digitalization and data analytics using data science, predictive and prescriptive analytics, SC control tower methodology, and digital solutions. The role involves maturing our data analytics and digital journey to deliver operational excellence, integrating data from various sources into unified visualization platforms (i.e. Power BI) and developing powerful insights for relevant stakeholders (e.g. SCM, Finance, Manufacturing, etc.). The role brings experience of having participated or led various digital technologies (e.g. AI-ML, IoT, etc.) initiatives in complex supply chain networks. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop strong cross-functional stakeholder management and initiative program management experience. Principal Responsibilities • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify opportunities for digitalization and process optimization. • Assist in the evaluation of digital tools, software, and systems that can enhance supply chain efficiency and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement digital solutions aimed at streamlining supply chain processes and reducing operational costs. • Work on integrating data from various sources into a unified platform to enable real-time monitoring and decision-making. • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key supply chain performance metrics and share insights with relevant stakeholders. • Assist in project management activities related to digitalization initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation. • From time to time, participate in various consulting engagement and best practice studies initiated for SC. • Other duties as assigned. Supply Chain Data and Digital Specialist, Oakville, ON Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA • Overall 8-10 years’ experience in Data Science, Digitalization and or SC Control Tower Design within leading manufacturing-oriented supply chain organizations and or consulting organizations • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. • Basic understanding of digital technologies and their applications in supply chain management. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and present findings effectively.
