JOB SUMMARY:
Provides focused senior leadership in the Division of Clinical Quality for Kettering Medical Center System (KMCS) to enhance improved care value through the coordination and promotion of services provided. Ensures KMCS alignment of workflows and performance improvement (PI) methodologies and outcomes in accordance with Network practice standards. Reports Quality outcomes and issues to Executive Leadership and Board.

Responsible to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements related to areas of responsibility. Utilizes organizational resources to act as an advocate for the safe and timely delivery of care with accountability for integrating services that facilitate One Best Practice for patient care.
Provides leadership direction for KMCS quality managers. Responsibility encompasses oversight of facility-based performance improvement and care management across the continuum. Directs Quality Managers to facilitate the implementation of quality initiatives with associated PI activity. Includes areas of Patient Safety, Patient Relations and Risk, Infection Prevention & Control, and Regulatory Compliance or survey readiness. As part of the multidisciplinary team, Director collaborates with the Network Quality Directors, facility Quality Managers and Directors, KMCS Chief Medical Officer and other physician leaders, and other organization leaders to support campus and Network wide quality objectives and goals.
