Top Training Executive leads the development and implementation of all aspects of an organization's training programs, policies, and objectives to develop and maintain an effective workforce. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess training and development needs as well as to gauge the effectiveness of established programs. Being a Top Training Executive develops a strategic plan to implement an efficient and responsive training services team and relevant programs. Reviews new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Additionally, Top Training Executive oversees relationship with vendors to ensure outside training programs are effective and provide a good return on investment. May lead or contribute to a succession planning process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top human resources management. The Top Training Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. - You’ll be based out of our Baton Rouge, LA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.
- You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
- You will either be out on your own or team up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
- High School diploma/GED.
- 4-6 years of experience working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and power generator repairs.
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
