Top Training Executive leads the development and implementation of all aspects of an organization's training programs, policies, and objectives to develop and maintain an effective workforce. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess training and development needs as well as to gauge the effectiveness of established programs. Being a Top Training Executive develops a strategic plan to implement an efficient and responsive training services team and relevant programs. Reviews new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Additionally, Top Training Executive oversees relationship with vendors to ensure outside training programs are effective and provide a good return on investment. May lead or contribute to a succession planning process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top human resources management. The Top Training Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. A a very new, unique and enviable position within the area of film taxation. Due to our expertise and reputation, we are asked to act for the key talent on circa 90% of major US studio feature films that are commissioned for production in locations outside the US.
Our specialism is ensuring that actors, directors and other key personnel meet their international tax obligations and operate in the most tax efficient way possible.
As a result of our ongoing success, we have created a new position for a Tax Consultant within the film team.
The work will involve :
Assisting in advising key talent on structuring their involvement in film projects.
Reviewing the implications of tax laws in other jurisdictions relevant to a project.
Assisting in advising on contractual matters from a tax perspective.
Preparing tax forecasts and completing the UK Tax Returns for key talent.
Researching future projects and active involvement in generating new work.
This really is a very rare opportunity to learn a skill-set that few others have within the profession and deal with the affairs of prominent persons within the entertainment industry.
