Deposit Operations Specialist / Full Time

Essential Job Functions:

This essential position is responsible for helping to maintain the day-to-day operations of the bank. Candidate must also be service-oriented and have effective customer resolution skills while working in a Team environment.

An effective and smooth operations department contributes to the bank's overall success. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must while processing customer and bank transactions. Adherence to bank and regulatory policies and procedures is also an essential part of this critical position.

• Monitor and address non-post, exceptions, stop payments, and NSF items
• Process foreign items and returned mail
• Manage debit card duties including maintenance, fraud, limit changes, and instant issue
• Process chargeback's, ACH items, Wire Transfers, ACH and ATM Disputes
• Review wire transfer requests and verify that authority limits and policy is followed
• Process daily account maintenance requests
• Maintain the confidentiality of the Bank's customers
• Remain current and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training
• Process proof adjustments and review mobile deposits
• Perform all other duties within the scope of the department

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior bank experience preferred.
• Customer resolution skills
• Team player
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task.
