    Cirrus is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to join our team in Duluth, MN!     ABOUT THE JOB
    This role is the top Total Rewards position at one of the major locations, with the responsibility and oversight in managing Total Rewards across the organization. The Total Rewards Manager will manage the design, implementation, and management of Cirrus Total Rewards to enhance the well-being and satisfaction of our employees. Knowledge of benefits administration, compliance regulations, compensation analysis, and strategic planning is essential. You’ll work closely with the HR team, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure total rewards align with our organizational objectives and initiatives.

    • Plan Design and Evaluation: Lead the review, design, and evaluation of employee benefit plans, considering factors such as cost, competitiveness, and employee preferences

    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefit providers, brokers, consultants, and other vendors to negotiate contracts, evaluate services, and ensure quality delivery

    • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits, ensuring compliance with laws such as ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA

    • Benefits Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollment, eligibility verification, and claims resolution

    • Leave of Absence Management: Manage leave of absence process from start to finish, including reviewing and approving leave requests, coordinating proper documentation, pay adjustments, benefit premium payments, and tracking leave usage

    • Employee Education and Communication: Develop and deliver educational materials and communication campaigns to inform employees about available benefits, enrollment procedures, and plan changes

    • Data Analysis and Insight: Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs, identify trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. Analyze data related to benefits to identify opportunities for improvement, cost containment, and risk mitigation

    • Employee Advocacy: Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for employee inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution related to benefits

    • Open Enrollment: Lead the planning and execution of annual open enrollment activities, including plan selections, communication strategies, and enrollment support

    • Compensation Analysis: Gather data on compensation trends, industry benchmarks, and salary surveys to ensure organization’s compensation packages remain competitive

    • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and refine benefits processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction

    • Travel requirements estimated at 10-15%.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field: professional certification preferred

    • Five years of recent experience in human resources management

    • 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, with a focus on plan design, vendor management, and compliance

    • 2 years of recent experience in compensation management preferred.



    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

    • Leadership experience is required; formal training is strongly preferred

    • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
