Quality Administrator
Job Title: Quality Administrator
Shift: 5A (Monday-Friday)
Job Purpose
Prepare reports for use by Quality Engineering personnel. Reporting may include process yields and defects, customer specific key quality indicators, supplier performance, and other metrics as may be directed by Quality Management. Analyzes programs for improvement opportunities to include trending. Under minimal supervision oversees compliance to company standards by conducting audits, both internal and at supplier locations. Issues corrective action to non-compliant departments.
Nature of Duties
Assist Quality and other Engineers in the performance and monitoring of electromechanical device testing. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records. May be responsible for the coordination of material purges and Part Change Notices. As required, assist engineering in the preparation of process and software validation protocols and test reports. General support of the Quality Department as deemed appropriate by Management.
Education and Experience
Minimum of High School Diploma/ GED (2-year technical degree a plus)
At least 6 years of manufacturing related experience in Quality (Electronics a plus)
Ability to read and write and communicate in clear English
Intermediate computer skills
Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle multiple jobs and adapt to a work environment with changing priorities
