Responsibilities:
This is a new position developed to review of medical records of a special MediCal Waiver program, the Home & Community Based Alternative Waiver (HCBA) program, that provides nursing and social work to children and adults in 31 California counties.
This position will provide medical records review and management of medical records for approximately 1600 clients that are served in the HCBA program.
This position will work with a dedicated clerical team of at least 4 to 6 clerical staff that coordinate with clinical managers in managing the multiple deadlines and care needs of our patients.
Our team is responsible for tracking Plans of Treatment, signatures of medical providers, signatures and consents of clients and caregivers, answering questions from the public regarding the program, assisting RN adjudicating TARS, performing quality assurance of medical records to verify the timely and comprehensive assessments are documented and uploaded into a cloud based electronic medical record
The role reports directly to the CEO of the company.

This role is located in our Chico office. This is not a remote role and you are required to work in our office.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch. No weekend hours.

No travel required, except for the possibility of training in another location.

Compensation:
Salary is $72,800 to $80,600 per annum. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

Leave accrues starting on your first day of employment, and you can take paid vacation, sick and holiday leave after 90 days.
