Accountabilities:
· Establish procurement plan and contracting strategy in concert with Project Manager and VP Contracts
· Optimize project delivery and profitability by negotiating favorable purchasing and contract terms
· Ensure flow-down contract terms between client contract and Total Western project purchases and contracts
· Maintain forms, templates and tools used to manage purchases from requisition packages through purchase agreements, vendor document receipt and approval, progress payments, QAQC reviews and approvals, factory acceptance testing, packaging and shipping coordination, final receipt of equipment and final product acceptance
· Maintain status of materials and services through the purchase order or contract life-cycle
· Provide routine forecast of procurement and contracts commitments, expenditures, and delivery status
· Assist the Project Manager to establish project procurement plans, procedures, monitor commitments and status performance of suppliers and contractors within boundaries of corporate policies
· Prepare scheduled and necessary updates of supplier and contractor activities and analysis of their performance
· Inform project team promptly of any purchase or contract schedule changes and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
· Work with engineering partner and QAQC to manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications for vendors and contractors
· Must comply with Corporate Drug and Alcohol Policy
· May work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, and wet conditions
· Occasionally works in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels
· May work in areas with hazardous chemicals
· May work outdoors on uneven surfaces
· May be required to sit and stand for long periods of time
· May occasionally be required to stoop, bend, and crouch
· Regular travel is required
Preferred Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, construction management or related field of study
· 10 years procurement and contracts experience
· Experience supporting change management through procurement and contracts life-cycle
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools
· Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices as applied to purchase orders, contracts and materials delivery
· Previous experience within the Industrial Construction Industry
Compensation Range: $115,000 – 145,000
