Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Laredo, TX for a Quality Assurance Specialist. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for performing quality control and assurance activities, managing quality systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. The role requires working closely with both customers and suppliers to ensure customer complaints/questions are addressed in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Monitor and resolve customer feedback and complaints in a timely manner including creating quality alerts and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain quality related documentation and records that have been created in company system.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained.
• Manage and assist in customer and yearly internal and external ISO quality audits and inspections.
• Maintain effective quality control systems and processes to ensure that all products and services meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
• Experience in Quality Management and implementing Quality Systems
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
• Proficiency in conducting Quality Auditing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Experience in the Heavy Truck, Turbocharger, Exhaust, Ag, Diesel Engine, or EV industries is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
