    General Summary: The Manager Total Rewards position is responsible for assisting with the administration of all Total Rewards programs which include but are not limited to Retirement, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, PTO, Short- and Long-term Disability programs and other various ancillary benefits. Manages the day-to-day requirements within the area of Total Rewards, while also supporting various strategic initiatives. This position will be responsible for leading exciting projects within Total Rewards that helps package all the amazing benefits, perks and rewards our employees receive for the incredible work they do. Our goal within Total Rewards is to increase awareness to further support our attraction and retention efforts and ultimately help employees live better.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversees policy development, plan design, implementation, administration, and record-keeping of healthcare plans, retirement plans, and leave programs
    • Leads the management of relationships with brokers, vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Leads the process for vendor proposals & negotiations and evaluation of vendor performance including feedback and recommendations for changes
    • Oversee the management and execution of the 401k plan, including all compliance and fiduciary activities
    • Leverages Total Rewards data; develops reports and key metrics to support analysis and decision-making
    • Manage day to day Total Rewards inquiries and tasks through Service Now and other means of communication
    • Conducts routine audits of various processes within Total Rewards to ensure accuracy and overall compliance
    • Analyze incoming Service Now requests and recommend process improvement and or support tools
    • Plan and manage annual Benefits Enrollment events and ensure employee understanding and utilization of new benefit programs through regular and effective communication and consultation on individual cases as needed
    • Maintains general knowledge of applicable laws and regulations effecting both Total Rewards and Human Resources functions by staying abreast of current HR principles, techniques, and practices
    • Partner with Payroll/HRIS for all Total Rewards tasks required for each payroll cycle
    • Employs continuous improvement principles to reduce manual processing, while ensuring that all HR Total Rewards operations are efficient and effective while delivering both the highest quality and services
    • Maintain good working relationships with all outside vendors while holding them accountable
    • Assist to research and implement Total Rewards initiatives and programs
    • Administer and communicate Total Rewards programs, policies, and procedures
    • Collaborate with facility HR Teams as needed, to research, conduct root cause analysis and communicate feedback to stakeholders
    • Provide appropriate Total Rewards training to facility HR staff on an ongoing basis
    • Provide support for all Total Rewards and or Human Resources related activities
    • Support both Corporate HR Staff and field presentations and meetings
    • Provide assistance with potential acquisitions and divestitures, as needed
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Must possess an understanding of the business; quickly learn the organization's strategy and the industry
    • Federal, state and local benefit laws
    • Knowledge of UltiPro preferred
    • Strong project management knowledge and experience
    • Excellent in Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup’s, etc.)
    • Good communicator
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience crafting change management and communications strategies preferred
    • Work with all levels of the organization (including executive leaders)

    Additional Information:

    • Access to and or works with sensitive and or confidential information
    • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare and general regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, ERISA)
    • Not responsible for supervising employees

    Work Experience, Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field
    • Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred or the desire to obtain
    • The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program (CEBS) or the desire to obtain
    • 4 years or equivalent experience, multi-site preferred
    • Healthcare experience preferred
