Job Description:
Have the knowledge of the ISO 9001 Quality Standard.
Understand quality and production with company specifications, goals, and objectives.
Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulation; comply with internal ATI practices.
Support all 6S and lean activities.
Coordinate all quality leads and quality inspectors in the processes of material examination and the resolution of quality issues.
Have an advanced understanding of an ERP system.
Assist the corporate quality manager in administering the company quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
Recommend effective modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality with limits of equipment and personnel capability.
Oversee activities in the inspection process including first article inspections and PPAPS.
Maintain quality department inspection equipment.
Maintain calibration status on all gauges on the premises.
Perform the operations of coordinate measure machining and training.
Interact with Accounting, Customer Service, Outside Sales and Production to resolve any issues involving customers.
