Being a Trade Relations Manager is responsible for building and keeping good organization image in the trade. Collects, analyzes, and researches the information of the trade to avoid industry risk and identify new opportunities. Additionally, Trade Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Trade Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Summary
The Manager, Labor Relations will execute labor relations strategies, negotiate contracts, manage day-to-day contract administration, such as interpretive guidance to management and grievance processing, support the Company's positive labor relations and intervention efforts, investigate labor relations matters, facilitate training, build effective relationships with union representatives, and perform other duties as assigned. This individual is the field-level first point of contact for union representatives and business leaders regarding all issues related to the collective bargaining agreement and the collective bargaining relationship.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a standard office environment. Some travel to remote sites may be required. This position requires some time outside of typical working hours and travel to meetings outside the State.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in industrial/labor relations or related field required. (Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.).
Masters degree in industrial/labor relations or related field preferred.
Other specialized education and/or training in Industrial/Labor Relations preferred.
Experience
Five (5) years direct experience in Labor Relations required. Experience must include labor contract administration, grievance procedures and contract negotiations.
Substitution
Labor Relations experience which includes labor contract administration, grievance procedures and contract negotiations may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, in addition to experience requirement.
