Trade Relations Manager manages, develops, and maintains good relationships with the other members of the trade. Participates actively in the designing and organizing of public relations activities. Being a Trade Relations Manager is responsible for building and keeping good organization image in the trade. Collects, analyzes, and researches the information of the trade to avoid industry risk and identify new opportunities. Additionally, Trade Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Trade Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Role

    The Trade Development Manager (TDM) will manage a set group of distributor partners within their assigned territory.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    ·       Develop and ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies for all company products and achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives for all national and regional accounts and/or programs.

    ·       Develop, manage and/or maximize partnerships to drive improved performance.

    ·       Use objective tools, information, and feedback to establish region and area performance goals and results.

    ·       Participate in monthly sales meetings, either in person or virtually.

    ·       Conduct Monthly Planning and Review (MPR) meetings with all distributor leadership to track, monitor and adjust efforts and produce desired outcomes in all key business segments.

    ·       Ensure distributor executes on designed programs within IRi reporting chains.

    Key Skills and Experience Required

    ·       Outstanding sales experience and track record in CPG industry (Beverage Preferred)

    ·       Distributor and Supplier experience preferred

    ·       3 years’ experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate third party sales teams preferred.

    ·       Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability

    ·       Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    ·       Valid Driver’s License

     

    Education Requirements

    ·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    Travel:

    ·       50%

    ·       This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer.

    ·       Valid driver’s license required
