Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Trade Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description

    As our Associate Manager Trade Marketing, your goal will be to make our Salomon brand and outdoor product stories come to life with key account partners, both in-store and online. This role ensures the execution of point-of-sale marketing programs and the maintenance of relationships with key accounts as assigned to drive growth within the Outdoor and General Sporting Goods channels.

    The Associate Manager will support the production, execution, and tracking of trade marketing programs for our best partners in the Outdoor and General Sporting Goods channels and assist with other projects as requested.

    As part of your role, you will ensure the:

    • Collaboration with Marketing and Category Managers:
    • Work closely with marketing and category managers each season to understand category objectives for all assigned accounts.
    • Collaboration with Sales:
    • Regularly cooperate with sales to identify seasonal business objectives and track progress.
    • Execution of Joint Marketing Plans:
    • Support the execution of joint marketing plans with key accounts by managing content deliveries, sample distribution, and other tasks aligned with the marketing plan.
    • Presentations and Coordination:
    • Work with the Senior Manager of Key Accounts and Trade Marketing to present brand strategy, category objectives, and channel results to both internal stakeholders and external account partners during seasonal checkpoints. Coordinate regular reporting and planning meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Operational Management:
    • Ensure the execution of all events and activations created in partnership with key accounts.
    • Verify that Salomon’s presence on account websites is optimized.
    • Manage content distribution programs in partnership with assigned accounts to ensure review generation on whs.com.
    • Track all initiatives related to in-store professional training, incentives, content distribution, and bonus programs.
    • Create and maintain go-to-market calendars, campaign rollouts, and recaps for all assigned accounts.
    • Organize and execute assigned trade shows.
    • Provide reports on campaign execution and sales metrics.
    • Manage the trade marketing budget for all assigned accounts.
    • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Essential skills and competencies:

    You possess 3 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing or account marketing in performance or outdoor footwear, or in a related field.

    You possess a B.S. or B.A. in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
