    Who we are looking for

    Our team is on the lookout for a skilled Contract and Trade Compliance Manager to oversee our client agreements, ensure adherence to regulatory mandates, and handle certifications and representations. Your role will encompass the critical tasks of scrutinizing, negotiating, and finalizing these elements, in addition to systematically organizing and preserving pertinent records.

    What you will get to do

    • Handle customer contracts including long term agreements (LTAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), general terms and conditions, etc. Responsibilities include comprehensive reviews from both a business standpoint and a legal standpoint, “redline” revisions, negotiating, and ultimately executing, also interfacing with Re:Build Legal where appropriate.
    • Manage customer regulatory requirements, such as export compliance including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), including coordinating the acquisition of export licenses for applicable customer orders, also collaborating with Re:Build Legal where appropriate.
    • Manage customer “certifications and representations,” essentially CDI’s “profile” within customer systems, including information such as CDI’s leadership structure, business segment and customer profile, process capabilities and equipment, etc. This typically takes the form of directly working with a customer portal, or replying to customer surveys.
    • Manage related items that may arise, such as supplier contracts, external inquiries, etc.
    • Organize and maintain all documentation related to the above via Re:Build applications, customer applications, locally organized file folder structure, etc.
    • Assist in developing and implementing processes and policies relating to contracts, regulatory requirements, certifications and representations, etc.

    What you bring to the team

    • Bachelor’s degree (pre-law or business administration a plus) OR comparable combination of education and experience.
    • 5 years experience in legal, compliance or contracts preferred
    • 5 years of experience negotiating contracts
    • Experience with trade compliance, specifically administering ITAR and/or EAR compliance
    • Experience with customer portals
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize effectively and work cross-functionally to deliver results within established timelines
    • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
