Trade Show Manager manages the execution and logistics of trade shows and exhibitions to achieve business objectives. Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, promotional items, literature, bookings, and other details. Being a Trade Show Manager approves the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and displays. Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget. Additionally, Trade Show Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Show Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. SKILLED TRADESMAN
Reports to: Service Manager
Objectives: Work alone or in conjunction with other staff members to complete service repairs, renovations, additions, and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform skilled trade repairs, installations, renovations, and construction projects related to all aspects of home building, home repairs, and residential maintenance.
2. Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
3. Must have expertise, training or skills to perform; carpentry, roofing, finish carpentry, interior finishes, drywall work, drywall finishing, drywall repairs, hard surface flooring, siding, painting, all types of ceramic tile work, window installation and door installation.
4. Evaluate, diagnose and solve problems.
5. Be able to work alone with minimal supervision.
6. Control quality and perform all work in a good and workmanship manner.
Qualifications:
1. Move and utilize a variety of ladders including a 32’ extension ladder for entire work shift.
2. Able to work on roofs, work platforms and scaffolding at a variety of heights.
2. Essential skills are physical strength, attention to safety, stamina, and being able to follow instructions.
3. As it relates to painting abilities be able to discriminate between colors, matching or detecting any difference between colors they work with. They should know the different painting methods suitable for each type of painting job.
4. An eye for detail is important. Able to recognize and take corrective action for needed repairs related to the work being performed.
5. Must have a Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (provided by applicant).
