Mattress Direct and Marshall Home Furniture are hiring full-time and part-time employees. We will be considering applicants for existing showrooms and for overall operations. Customer facing experience is preferred, but not required; we will train you with all the tools you’ll need to make coming to work a fun and profitable experience. Furniture Sales Associate

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacting with customers in a retail environment.

• Demonstrating a high level of product knowledge.

• Maintaining knowledge of competitive offerings in the market.

• Determining needs and advising customers on their purchases.

• Assisting customers through direct action or by supporting coworkers.

• Demonstrating effective closing skills.

• Accurately entering information in the point-of-sale system.

• Handling customer purchase paperwork and tracking orders.

• Communicating with customers after the sale.

• Working with team members to utilize varied skill sets in order provide exceptional service.

• Contributing to the team and communicating effectively with other employees to attain goals.

• Helping to maintain a clean, orderly working environment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of six months proven sales experience or sales-related customer service.

• Basic computer skills.

• Cheerful, friendly, professional demeanor.

• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Desire to succeed and excel.

Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse associate your duties would include:

Heavy lifting for extended periods of time

Moving furniture and mattresses thru out the warehouse

Unloading trucks

Assembly of furnituure

Furniture repair

Assisting with setting furniture and mattresses displays in showroom

Assisting with tagging of furniture and mattresses

General cleaning as needed

Other duties as needed

Forklift experience and pallet jack expereince a plus

Bilingual Furniture Sales – Full Time Responsibilities:

• Identify and meet customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge for all items sold by Mattress Direct.
• Mentor junior sales staff on aforementioned skills and knowledge.
• Provide input on merchandising, pricing, advertising and promotions to senior executives.
• Assist in the hiring process of new employees as needed.
• Implement new products, promotions, and techniques as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospective sales, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as company-specific software.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics.
• Attend ongoing education/training meetings for employees as needed
• Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships

with all support departments.
Requirements:

• MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH
• Superlative oral and written communication skilLs
• Frequent evening, weekend, and holiday hours are required
• Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
• Evidence of past managerial or leadership potential
• 2-5 years in the retail industry are preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of, and experience in the mattress industry is preferred, but not required.

Technical Operations Manager

Location: Saint Peters, MO

Job Summary:
The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical processes for Mattress Direct. The role is responsible for delivering advice and direction to staff in times of uncertainty and managing customer operations. Experience in networking, mobile data and cloud connectivity is imperative.
