    Summary: The recruiter is responsible for serving as the main conduit of talent into the organization while providing support to management in the areas of recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Represent the organization to attract and retain talent.
    • Utilize creative sourcing and recruiting methods to identify top performing candidates for salaried plant operations positions while managing the full lifecycle recruiting process.
    • Schedule and perform interviews for candidates. 
    • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers to assist with external recruitment and hiring efforts.
    • Assist with internal hiring efforts.
    • Post open positions internally and externally utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruit, source, and develop talent pool.
    • Screen candidates through the new hire selection process.
    • Manage the recruitment process and lifecycle including assessments, interviews, and job offers.
    • Participate in employment events such as networking events and career fairs.
    • Track applicants through the selection phase to onboarding.
    • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
    • Talent Acquisition experience desired.
    • Corporate, Recruiting Agency, or similar discipline preferred.
    • Experience with college recruiting desired.
    • Direct experience hiring administrative and salaried individuals in a manufacturing / production environment preferred.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally throughout an organization.
    • Experience working with an applicant tracking system preferred.

    Language Skills: 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting/classroom facilitation and presentation.  
    • Ability to adjust communication skills to all levels within the organization.  
    • Ability to collect and analyze data, write reports, business communications and publications. 

    Mathematical Skills: 
    • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference as it relates to metrics and data analysis. 

    Computer Skills: 
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 
    • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for the company's driver program. 

    Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully performing this job.  Regular sitting, usage of hands to finger, handle, or fell, reaching with hands and arms.  Speaking and hearing on a regular basis.  Frequent walking and standing.  Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.  Lifting or moving of 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
