We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features and benefits
- Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Meet or exceed sales goals by actively promoting products and upselling
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, new products, and company policies
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts or change
- Knowledge of electronics sales is a plus
- Ability to conduct product demos and explain technical features to customers
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
