    JOB SUMMARY

    This position coordinates the College's assessment and surveying processes as well as select state reporting functions. Responsibilities may include: developing and maintaining a comprehensive system to compile, manage, evaluate, and report data associated with College goals and institutional initiatives; overseeing the process for the development and implementation of surveys and non-academic program assessments; managing data systems for state reporting; reviewing and approving state reports; and performing other duties as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Assists with the development and implementation of institutional surveys, such as the Entering, Enrolled, and Graduating Student Surveys.
    • Develops and implements non-academic program assessment processes.
    • Develops and executes research; develops or selects data collection instruments; and determines what survey requests should be completed and what methods of administration to use.
    • Assists with the development of co-curricular assessment processes in tandem with Director and Associate Director.
    • Assists with the Titan Experience Survey administration and oversight of reporting to provosts and College stakeholders.
    • Extracts, manipulates, and processes data utilizing a variety of resources; performs complex statistical computations and analyses, aligns the analyses with the strategic objectives of the College; and provides advice and expertise on implications of results.
    • Ensures non-academic program assessments are completed in accordance with institutional accreditor requirements to support continuous improvement and accreditation;
    • Provides guidance to provosts; associate provosts; and department administrators to develop program outcomes, report on findings, and identify action plans for continuous improvement College-wide.
    • Assist with Academic Viability Report Metric Data Collection.
    • Validates data results for each of the institutional student survey reports to ensure accuracy; and any other data needs or reports as needed.
    • Completes state reporting and SPC Factbook validation as needed.
    • Assists with student surveys to ascertain level of student satisfaction, as needed.
    • Confers with provosts, department leads, and program leads to determine issues and needs related to research and assessment; implements and analyzes research studies which include administering and coordinating responses to surveys.
    • Makes presentations.
    • Assists with the development of ad-hoc departmental surveys.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Master's degree in computer applications, statistics, educational research; higher education administration, or a related field; three (3) years of related work experience in statistical analysis or applied research; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
