    DESCRIPTION: East Texas Baptist University invites applications for a full-time position working mornings in Institutional Technology department and afternoons in the Registrar's office. This position will assist the Director of Institutional Technology with purchases and processes related to campus technology, assist callers by providing first line technical support, monitor and assign IT work order tickets, and various other office duties. In the Registrar's office, this position will assist with transcript requests, scanning documents to files. enrollment and degree verification and other office duties as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS: At least two years administrative office experience and efficiency with computers and various office equipment.
    Requirements:
    • Knowledge and computer skills to include Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Possess strong administrative and secretarial skills, be task and detail oriented
    • Be able to work and communicate well, both written and orally with diverse clientele
    • Possess excellent organizational skills with an ability to efficiently manage multiple concurrent tasks in a detail-oriented setting

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred, college level experience advantageous
