The Opportunity
Ulteig Engineers Project Management team has an opportunity to hire a Once Through Cooling (OTC) Power Plant Specialist based out of Sacramento, California. This position will require extensive knowledge about operations and maintenance of large utility scale boiler turbine-generator units. Recommendations of operations and maintenance activities, to ensure reliability, will be provided. Validation of proposed costs associated with plant operations, maintenance, capital upgrades, permitting, and regulatory compliance will be performed. In some cases, costs will need to be estimated. Consultation and collaboration with financial analysts and project specialists will be necessary. The work will be performed remotely; however, occasional site visits may be required.
