Being a Trader (OTC) evaluates market volatility, carries out trades, and maintains accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops relationships with dealers to obtain optimal trade execution. Additionally, Trader (OTC) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Trader (OTC) work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Account Manager - OTC and Inside Sales

  • This position sells goods to walk in customers and handles new customer calls. Deals with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold. This is an in office position, however, hybrid/remote work may be permitted depending on experience.

    Essential Functions

    • Assist walk in customers promptly and professionally.
    • Answer and return calls not assigned to other sales staff in a timely manner.
    • Travel to customer job sites as required (up to 20%).
    • Know products and services and how they can benefit individual customers.
    • Identify customer problems or needs and recommend products accordingly.
    • Provide accurate and timely quotes and delivery dates and follow up on quotes regularly.
    • Prepare Sales Orders and secure payment for COD customers in accordance with Company procedures.
    • Retain core customers by providing excellent customer service.
    • Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
    • Participate in continuous product training.
    • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls.

    Job Qualifications

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in door and hardware industry preferred.
    • Willing and able to reliably commute to Auburn office, and travel to customer job sites within Puget Sound region.

    • Reading comprehension

    Physical Demands/Work Environment

    • Occasionally stationed at a desk working on a computer/keyboarding
    • Occasionally sitting while driving vehicle between job sites
    • Occasionally move or transport up to 25 pounds of office supplies or equipment.
    • This position requires normal vision and hearing abilities. The employee must be able to communicate verbally and visually with customers, vendors, and coworkers. The employee must be able to detect, discern, and convey information accurately and effectively.
