Being a Trader (Options) may provide input or develop financial models to mitigate risk and ensure profits. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area, and may require state licensure. Additionally, Trader (Options) typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Trader (Options) typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
