Trader (Options) is responsible for the timely buying and selling of stock options. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Being a Trader (Options) may provide input or develop financial models to mitigate risk and ensure profits. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area, and may require state licensure. Additionally, Trader (Options) typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Trader (Options) typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The person in this position is supervised by the building administrator. The JC Options Teacher works with the JC Options Coordinator and Director to meet the needs of K-8 students working in the program. The teacher will support students as they work through the online courses and assessments. The JC Options Teacher plans and implements strategies to build and develop student success; communicates and works in partnership with parents and building level admin, teachers, and counselors. The JC Options Teacher (K-8) will effectively navigate complex, sensitive, and confidential student situations to enable access to the JC Options Program. The JC Online Coordinator will work to determine the daily duties/priorities for the teacher in this position.
