Join us as a Currencies Options Trader in our US Currencies Trading team in Stamford, CT

We provide clients with seamless execution and competitive pricing, underpinned by a deep knowledge of risk management across the full spectrum of financial products. We have a clear strategy in place which puts clients at the centre of what we do.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Market making and trade execution of FXO products
• Increase client connectivity through strategy, communication and client engagement
• Accurate booking of all trading activities within the relevant systems and timely follow up of trade queries to minimise the risk of errors

• Proactive identification and escalation of conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes
• Contribute to overall desk trading strategy
• Role model behaviours in line with the NWM Policy Framework

The skills you'll need:

To join us in this role, you’ll hold a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and you’ll have a strong risk and controls discipline gained from experience in a similar role within Banking or Finance.

You’ll also have:

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge of relevant products (desirable)

• Strong technical skills (example: excel, VBA, C ) (desirable)
• Experience creating efficiencies and improvements in our tools and processes

We are advertising this role at VP grade however we will consider applicants from those currently at Analyst or Associate grades. The expected base annual salary range for this position is:

Analyst: $100,000 - $110,000 / Associate: $135,000 - $170,000 / VP: $170,000 - $215,000

This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location.
