Being a Trader (Options) may provide input or develop financial models to mitigate risk and ensure profits. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area, and may require state licensure. Additionally, Trader (Options) typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Trader (Options) typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Description
A fully trained Merchandiser/Trader will be able to profitably trade assigned commodities within defined geographical territory. The incumbent must accomplish this while following company policies and procedures, developing and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships, and managing their profit center in an efficient and professional manner.
