What's the role?

In this role You will guide the team through the testing lifecycle, implementing best practices, and ensure the quality of in-scope tests. In addition you will:

• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression and UAT)
• Provide support in designing and developing functional test scripts.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders locally and globally to improve the tests.
• Support in test planning, reporting and recommendations.
• Design and maintain Test Plan and Reporting documentations.
• Assisting the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during testing phase and in production phase.
• Tracking software test results and defects in relevant tools/databases.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects found during testing, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to the overall growth and development of the testing team.

Who are you?

You are a strong candidate for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies, and work experience.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Overall 5 to 8 years yearsworking experience of  including three to four years as a test engineer.
• Experience in E2E testing, good understanding of manual & automation testing.
• Hands on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence,
• Proficient Knowledge of testing related metrics and standard practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient at handling multiple projects/priorities.

As a Sr. Test Engineer you will a pivotal role in overseeing the testing activities within our Product Testing & Analytics team. This position requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, automation frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
