Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. As a traffic controller, our daily duties consist of setting up compliant work zones, safely directing traffic, responsibly managing the work zone throughout the day, and lastly tearing down the work zone at the end of the day.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
(Full Time - Monday through Saturday shifts weekly.)
Salary: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
