Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are hiring several traffic control flaggers for a local utility company.
Must be capable of working in all weather conditions and be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must have personal vehicle to travel to different job sites throughout the work day. (Mileage paid at 62 ½ cents per mile)
Experience a plus however we will provide classroom training and certification at no cost.
Long term assignments from Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime potential.
