Traffic Control Supervisor- Alaska

Responsibilities

• Report each day on time and ready to work
• Ensure reliable transportation to jobsite
• Ensure project safety rules and environmental regulations are followed at all times
• Utilize hand signals, signs & handheld stop/slow paddle to direct traffic through construction zone
• Communicate with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct traffic
• Set up signage and traffic cones along construction zone per traffic control plan
• Remove signs, and traffic cones at the end of each shift as needed
• Complete Traffic control Inspection Reports

Requirements:

• Experience on heavy civil construction projects including bridges, highway, transit, and rail preferred

• Certification through the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)
• Current Traffic Control Supervisor Certification
• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
• Ability to travel to the Susitna North Area
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
