Traffic Director leads and directs the traffic department to efficiently and safely move materials and products to designated destinations. Develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize delivery costs. Being a Traffic Director evaluates and selects appropriate transportation carriers and routes. Resolves delivery issues for both internal and external customers. Additionally, Traffic Director monitors, analyzes, and reviews loss and damage claims and makes recommendations for improved safety. Oversees costs and processes to adhere to budgets. Ensures compliance with all DOT/OSHA guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Traffic Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Traffic Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     What you will accomplish as the Director of Marketing at TAPCO

    The Director of Marketing plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing TAPCO’s overall marketing strategy. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives, with a focus on content creation, creative design, digital marketing, and brand empowerment. The Director of Marketing will work closely with all aspects of the business to achieve revenue and other strategic objectives across all segments Tapco serves. This role will also have a close connection with Tapco’s executive leadership team driving internal initiatives as well. This position will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. 

    Position Qualifications

    • Develop and execute a strategic marketing calendar that increases quality leads, brand presence, and market share. 
    • Lead the formation of marketing policies, programs, and systems to support the strategic needs of the business. 
    • Leverage all available lead-generation sources to optimize the delivery of qualified marketing leads to the sales organization. 
    • Curate relevant and dynamic SEO, SEM, email, and social media strategies to reach targeted audiences. 
    • Primary public relations spokesperson for TAPCO at media events such as press conferences and interviews. 
    • Maintain a robust marketing automation software platform as a critical repository for customer contact strategies. 
    • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    • Establish and monitor key marketing metrics that facilitate data-driven decision-making disciplines across all marketing functions. 
    • Perform other duties as needed.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field. 
    • Master’s degree (Preferred)
    • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience, such as leading a marketing team or significant marketing projects at a senior level. 
    • Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that drive business objectives. 
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience operating in an established CRM, such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
    •  Effective management of departmental budgets for labor, resources, and advertising needs.
