May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. In support of the 81st Training Wing (TRW) and 403rd Wing at Keesler AFB MS, performs typical weather station operations including but not limited to taking/recording weather observations, issuing Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAF), preparing and briefing DD Form 175-1, Mission Execution Forecast (MEF), and monitoring weather conditions and issuing weather watches, warnings, and advisories, as required.
Responsibilities
· Produces and disseminates all required surface weather observations to local customers, inputs them into the shared information database, and records them on applicable forms.
Qualifications
Operational experience using the Gibson/Ridge Doppler Radar program.
Position requires selected applicant be able to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance.
