Traffic Manager develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic Manager analyzes, handles, and reviews loss and damage claims caused by accidents. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Position: Traffic Control Supervisor
· Reports directly to Project Manager
· Supervision of on shift field personnel
· Schedule drivers accordingly to maintain on-time setups / Teardowns
· Assist with Daily Setups, Teardowns, Maintenances, etc. as needed.
· Communicating Job Expectations to Drivers
· Assisting with training of new Drivers
· Total Checks to ensure job sites are clean and free of left equipment
· Organization and Control of equipment on job sites / Job Site housekeeping
· Assisting (PM) with Monthly meetings (Documentation Required)
· Ensure safety & health regulations are followed
· Weekly Inspection of Vehicles (Documentation Required)
· Weekly Inspection of equipment and assures all is maintained accordingly
· Weekly meet with Warehouse personnel to discuss equipment fixed / needed
· Accident / Incident reporting
· Respond to emergencies as needed
